Kettle Black Review

The Kettle Black Menu, Reviews, Photos, Location and Info - Zomato

As promised, here is my food dedicated post. It is actually quite surprising that I haven't posted a food post at all, since one of my favourite things in the world is eating...I am ashamed of myself though for what I'm going to say next...guys I've never tried Kettle Black before, until two weeks ago. I know it is extremely shameful especially since I like to say I'm a somewhat 'instagrammer.' But seriously, I'm so sad that I never got around to trying Kettle Black after all the hype!! But hey, better late than never!!

My boyfriend treated me to a really cute date that day, me being the most annoying girlfriend ever requested for a proper 'date' date (does anyone else do this?). He started off the day on a high by taking me out bright and early to Kettle Black, surprisingly we only had to wait ten minutes for a spot! The exterior was absolutely beautiful and being the typical Instagrammer, had to get the oh so famous angle shot of the beautiful building.

We ordered a hot chocolate which did not make it to our perfect food shot as we had almost finished the drink by the time our food came, as well as the famous hotcakes and kettle black bun. When the hotcakes arrived, I was in awe with how pretty it all was! The edible flowers were the perfect touch! I seriously sat there for ten minutes just taking photos of it..(boyfriend was not too happy about that). While the hotcakes were delicious, I have to say that I much preferred the black bun, the meat is cooked to perfection and is definitely one that I would truly recommend!

We then spent the day shopping and finish the night off with another surprise..watching the Minion movie :) while it was a silly movie to watch in the cinemas, Despicable Me was the movie we watched on our first date, so we had to keep traditions going!! Who else has traditions with their boyfriend or friends? :)

Hope you're all having a wonderful week!

Much love
xx

  1. I'm such a foodie as well, but I haven't tried Kettle Black! Are the hotcakes worth the hype? I mean they look amazing...but do they taste amazing is the real question, haha

    1. They were delicious, but I found that I couldn't eat more than 1/4 of it just because it was so sweet.
It's definitely worth ordering at least once, but I would much prefer to order other things!

Thank you for popping by my blog lovely!
